Financial Transparency

K9 Legacy Project is committed to being transparent with our donors, supporters, and community. Every dollar donated helps provide food, veterinary care, medications, supplements, utilities, and safe sanctuary housing for the retired working dogs in our care.

We are a 100% volunteer-run organization with no paid staff.

In the first half of 2026, K9 Legacy Project spent approximately $20,600 caring for retired military, law enforcement, and other working dogs. Donations received totaled $16,837, leaving a funding gap of approximately $3,763.

That gap has been covered through personal funds, credit, deferred bills, and continued fundraising efforts.
